Hi all,
Hope you had a fantastic year at Manifest 2009. After heaps of discussion and evaluation of PapiCafe 2009, PapiLand in cooperation with Manifest have decided that there will be a PapiCafe 2010. I hope everyone is happy to hear this and thanks to Manifest, this year's Maid Cafe will be even more exciting and have more surprises. I am not going to disclose any details here, because I don't want to spoil it.
Thanks to all those who have participated last year, they did a great job with limited breaks. The organization of staff appointment was in lacking as was our first year, so we hope it will be better this year.
Evaluating from last year's recruitment processes, we have made several changes to the process. Please read the following details, if you wish to apply.
Recruitment information:
We are recruiting around 20 members this year (hopefully half guys and half girls). I need responsible individuals who has a passion for Anime and want this very much. Please only apply if you are. We do not want individuals who will quit half way or just stand around don't know what to do. The running of the Cafe depend on you guys, so it is really important that you take it seriously.
If you are selected you will be briefed and trained before the actually event, just so that you won't panic on the days. It is very stressful, so please be prepared and keep that in mind when you apply. Your measurements will be taken by our staff member personally to avoid confusion of sizes with the costumes. To ensure that everyone get some break this year, we are recruiting more members. Please don't be afraid to apply.
You will go through a selection process since there are many people expressing their interest in volunteering. It will be an interview with our recruit managers, please bring your resume and yourself to the meeting.
The deadline for application is set currently at 31-05-2010. This may be extended if required.
Requirement:
- Interested in the MaidCafe
- dedicated
- responsible
- can accept training
- good customer service awareness
- preferably, previous experience in cafe or restaurants but not essential
What do you get:
- a weekend manifest pass (you can not win competitions with this pass, but can attend any other event)
