@ Vermin- That is a kickin' design for Mage Peppa! If you want to get away from Nomura's design sense (which trust me, is a good thing to do)(then again, I hate 90% of the stuff Nomura is drawing these days so I may be biased here), pick up some fashion magazines, look at what people around you are wearing, pay attention to how the pieces of fabric fit together to form the individual garment- you can make something as boring as a regular pair of jeans interesting by simple changing where the seams join. Colour co-ordination is key- one thing I dislike about most of the FFX-2 designs is that they have no theme when it comes to colour, except 'let's mash the primaries and secondaries together!' There's a lot more fun to be had when you experiment with tones and tints.
On a side note, that magic staff she has is adorable!

@Hikari - Oh man, that's so sweet! Maybe Manifest should start making Valentines cards! ahahaa. I can see Peppa being used in some absolutely adorable designs XD.

You've got a much better grasp of human anatomy than me now (I'm 20, nearly 21) lol. And compared to my drawings at 13 you're some kind of artistic genius. Keep it up!

My latest. Digimon Tamers fanart. I'm working on a new Mecha vs Magic Peppa thing now... I actually really like drawing Peppa. If the next one turns out half decent I'll have an entry for the T-shirt/merch competition already. x3

I think I've discovered/defined a proper style of my own... I've never been very good with lineart and I always found it the most tedious part of any drawing so I've recently stopped lining things at all. I've improved my lineless skills enough to be happier using that style than lined, cel-shaded stuff.
Also... I need a new tablet pen. Mine is almost unusable, the nib's worn right down and the grip is duct-taped on. Lol.

I was going to use it for T-shirt/Merch comp but I'm really not sure it's the best "shirt and merch" design. What I've accidentally done is turn it into more of a poster. -fail- I'll still enter it I suppose but I might do another one... maybe lineart is the key. I so love linelessness though ;_;

Thanks PD, go ahead. If Manifest/MOC wants to use it they're welcome to it; I'll even provide the PSD for easy editing if you want. Not that it's really that good; my current grasp on human anatomy is still quite limited in practice. But for me, it's pretty decent.
